My two favorite cookbooks

Posted: May 1st, 2007

Everyone knows I'm food obssessed. There's nothing better than sitting down to have a meal with some friends and have them in sheer awe as to how good the meal you made tastes. I've comiled a mini-list of my 2 favorite cookbooks that I encourage everyone to buy. I've bought expensive ones and cheap ones, the ones I've listed here are only the ones that I feel give you the best bang for your buck while still making sure you get an unbelivable meal out of it. All these books are eBooks. I love eBooks because you don't have to wait for shipping :)

Chinese Food: The book is called 500 Healthy Chinese Recipes Cookbook. This book is the best one i've found so far for Chinese food. Theis author has recipes for everything Chinese you can possibly think of. I've made at least 20 dishes so far from this book and they've come out great. The good thing is that he gives you pictures of each plate so at least you know what the dish is supposed to look like.

CopyCat Recipes cookbook. This one is priceless. I've eaten out before and wondered how they made the food and I finally found a good book that tells you how they make them. Yes, some of the recipes are off, but some of them are dead-on. They have recipes from Red Lobster, Olive Garden etc. They even have some of the coffee recipes from Starbucks.....This book honestly impressed me. I was very sceptical before I bought this book. I ended up just buying it on a whim and I wasn't disappointed. Like I said, some of the recipes are off but the overwhelming majority of them are dead-on.

Check out both these books and you won't be disappointed, trust me!!
